Delong Iron and Steel dismantles 205 cubic meter blast furnace

Xingtai, Hebei-based Chinese steelmaker Delong Iron and Steel completed the dismantling of a 205 cubic meter blast furnace on August 31, an important step for the company in the elimination of dated production capacity.
Thus, Delong Iron and Steeli, which has an annual capacity of 3 million metric tons, has so far eliminated three 30 square meter sintering machines, a 205 cubic meter blast furnace and a 20 ton converter, while it has implemented a desulfurization project for 156 square meter sintering machines.
