Daye Special Steel sees 18.7 percent rise in net profit in H1

On August 20, Hubei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Daye Special Steel Co. announced its results for the first half of the current year, stating that in the given period its operating revenues amounted to RMB 3.807 billion ($0.62 billion), increasing by 1.33 percent, while it recorded a net profit of RMB 132 million ($21.43 million), up 18.69 percent, both year on year.
 
In addition, in the first half of the year Daye Special Steel's output of crude steel totaled 573,000 mt , while its finished steel output amounted to 697,000 mt.
