Italian plantmaker Danieli has announced that it will modernize the high-speed wire rod mill of Turkey-based steelmaker Kroman Çelik.

Danieli stated that, as part of the modernization, it will install new technological systems which will enable Kroman Çelik to expand its wire rod diameter range from the current 5.5-20 mm to 4.5-26 mm, also widening steel grade production to premium grades. The modernized mill will be in operation by summer 2019.
