Czech Republic scrap exports in 2018

According to provisional data from the Czech Republic customs, the country exported 2.13 million mt of ferrous scrap in 2018. The total export level is relatively stable year-on-year according to media reports.

The Czech Republic exported 0.91 million mt (43 percent) to Germany, 0.45 million mt (21 percent) to Poland, 0.37 million mt (17 percent) to Italy, 0.19 million mt (9 percent) to Austria, 0.17 million mt (8 percent) to Slovakia, and 0.04 million mt (2 percent) to other destinations.
