CSC’s steel sales up 14.7 percent in October from September

Taiwan's largest steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) has announced that in October this year its carbon steel sales volume increased by 14.7 percent to 937,517 metric tons compared to September, accounting for 69 percent of domestic sales. During the first ten months of the current year, the company's carbon steel sales volume amounted to 9.1 million mt, accounting for 69 percent of domestic sales.
 
In October, CSC's operating revenues amounted to NTD 26.03 billion ($816.33 million), up by 11 percent month on month. In the given month, the company’s operating income totaled NTD 3 billion ($94.14 million), rising by 15.4 percent compared to the previous month.
