CSC’s steel sales up 10.8 percent in November from October

Taiwan's largest steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) has announced that in November this year its carbon steel sales volume increased by 10.8 percent to 1.03 million metric tons compared to October, accounting for 69 percent of domestic sales. During the January-November period of the current year, the company's carbon steel sales volume amounted to 10.14 million mt, accounting for 69 percent of domestic sales.
 
In November, CSC's operating revenues amounted to NTD 27.84 billion ($866.4 million), up by 6.96 percent month on month. In the given month, the company’s operating income totaled NTD 2.41 billion ($75 million), declining by 19.6 percent compared to the previous month.
