Taiwan's largest steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) has announced that it will invest in building a third ladle furnace, since the current two ladle furnaces have insufficient capacity given the significant rise in the percentage of high-grade steel products.

The project will commence in October this year and is scheduled to be completed by June 2018. The total investment amount is estimated to be NTD 736 million ($23 million).
