Cost of civil construction in greater Buenos Aires area increases in September

The cost of civil construction in the greater Buenos Aires area rose slightly 0.4 percent in September, month-on-month, according to information released by the nation’s statistics agency, Indec.
 
According to Indec, the cost of civil construction in the greater Buenos Aires area went up 23.6 percent in the January-September period, year-on-year.
 
Cost of materials and general expenses in September rose 1.2 percent and 0.4 percent, month-on-month, respectively, while workforce costs declined 0.1 percent in the same period.
 
As for the nine-month comparison, cost of materials, workforce and general expenses oscillated 21.7, 22.6 and 38.8 percent, respectively, year-on-year.
