Corus’ name changed to Tata Steel Europe

Indian steel behemoth Tata Steel's European subsidiary Corus's name has changed to Tata Steel Europe as of September 27. Corus joined the Tata Steel family in April 2007.

As SteelOrbis previously reported, Uday Chaturvedi has been appointed as the new chief technical officer of Tata Steel's European operations with effect from October 1, 2010. Mr. Chaturvedi will join the company's executive committee and will report directly to the Tata Steel Europe MD and CEO.
