Coal output in Ukraine's Lvov region to increase in 2015

The Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine has stated that it is going to pay more attention to the development of the Lvov coal region in Ukraine due to the difficult situation affecting coal companies in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions.

Accordingly, coal production may increase by 25 percent in the Lvov region to 2 million mt in 2015, compared to 1.6 million mt expected in 2014, the ministry stated.
