Coal inventory at Qinhuangdao shows continuous decline

At the close of business on December 17, total coal inventory at the northeastern Chinese port of Qinhuangdao amounted to 5.4039 million mt, while the figure at the beginning of December was at 7.1557 million mt, thus representing an average daily decline of 103,000 mt. As regards coal prices at Qinhuangdao, the price of coal with heating value of 5,500 kcal/kg is at RMB 730-750/mt, up 14 percent compared with one month ago.
