Civil construction cost in greater Buenos Aires area increases in January

The cost of civil construction in the greater Buenos Aires area in January rose 2.4 percent, month-on-month, according to data released by the country’s statistics agency, Indec, this week.
 
Indec said the cost of materials, workforce and general expenses in January increased 1.9, 2.9 and 1.4 percent, month-on-month, respectively.
 
As for the year-on-year analysis, cost of materials, workforce and general expenses in January improved 22.4, 38.7 and 48.1 percent, respectively.
 
Indec said rebar costs slightly declined 0.1 percent in January, month-on-month.
