CITIC Pacific Special Steel’s net profit down 8.64 percent in 2022

Major Chinese special steel producer CITIC Pacific Special Steel Group has announced that its finished steel sales in 2022 amounted to 15.18 million mt, up 4.43 percent year on year, including 1.59 million mt of steel for export, up 20.83 percent year on year.

In particular, CITIC Pacific Special Steel posted an operating revenue of RMB 98.345 billion ($14.3 billion), down 0.25 percent year on year, while it registered a net profit of RMB 7.105 billion ($1.03 billion), down 8.64 percent year on year.
