CISA mills' finished steel inventories down 2.62% in early May

The China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) has announced that in early May (May.1-10) this year the finished steel inventories of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China - all CISA members - totaled 13.684 million mt, down 367,900 mt or 2.62 percent compared to late April (Apr.21-30).  
 
According to the CISA's previous figures, in late April this year the finished steel inventories of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China totaled 14.0519 million mt, down 507,900 mt or 3.49 percent compared to mid-April (Apr.11-20).
