The China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) has announced that in late August (August 21-30) this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China - all CISA members - totaled 1.8 million mt, down 3.65 percent compared to mid-August (August 11-20).
According to the CISA's previous figures, in mid-August the average aggregate daily crude steel output of the large and medium-sized Chinese steel enterprises totaled 1.9 million mt, up 2.63 percent compared to early August (August 1-10).
Meanwhile, as of August 30, the finished steel inventories of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China amounted to 12.22 million mt, down 7.2 percent compared to August 20.
