CISA members' average daily crude steel output decreases in late June

On July 10, the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) announced that in late June (June 21-30) this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China - all CISA members - totaled 1.778 million mt, down 3.2 percent compared to mid-June (June 11-20). 
 
According to the CISA's previous figures, in mid-June this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China had amounted to 1.837 million mt, up 0.2 percent from early June (June 1-10).
 
Meanwhile, as of June 30, 2014, overall inventory of the main finished steel products in the major steel markets in China totaled 13.915 million mt, down 7.9 percent as compared to the figure recorded on June 20.
