Chongqing Steel’s finished steel output up almost 40 percent in 2011

On January 5, Chinese steelmaker Chongqing Iron and Steel Group (Chongqing Steel) announced that it produced 5.333985 million mt of finished steel in 2011, up 39.45 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, Chongqing Steel's finished steel output in December 2011 totaled 415,037 mt, up 1.67 percent as compared to the same month of 2010.
