Chongqing Steel produces 418,700 mt of finished steel in January

On February 6, Chinese steelmaker Chongqing Iron and Steel Group (Chongqing Steel) announced that in January this year it produced 418,715 mt of finished steel, up 38.1 percent as compared to 303,187 mt in January 2011.

Meanwhile, as compared to the 415,037 mt produced in December last year, the month-on-month increase in Chongqing Steel's finished steel output in January was 0.88 percent.
