Chinese mills' common medium plate output down 11.1% in Nov from Oct

In November last year, the aggregate common medium plate and extra-thick steel plate outputs of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China - all CISA members - amounted to 3.37 million mt and 430,000 mt, decreasing by 11.1 percent and 13.4 percent month on month, respectively, as announced by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).

In the given month, CISA member steel enterprises produced 2.04 million mt of hot rolled strip and 2.85 million mt of cold rolled strip, remaining stable and down 6.8 percent month on month, respectively.
