China’s scrap imports down 28.2 percent in June

In June this year, China imported 210,000 mt of scrap, down 28.2 percent year on year, according to monthly import and export data issued by the Chinese customs authorities. 

In the first six months of the year, China imported 1.27 million mt of scrap, decreasing by 2.4 percent year on year.
