China’s finished steel exports up 27.2 percent in January-September

In September this year, China exported 11.25 million mt of finished steel, up 15.62 percent month on month and increasing by 32.04 percent year on year, while the finished steel export volume in the January-September period of the current year totaled 83.11 million mt, up 27.20 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities on October 13.
 
In September this year, China exported 670,000 mt of metallurgical coke, up 30,000 mt or 4.69 percent month on month and decreasing by 2.90 percent year on year. In the January-September period this year, China’s coke exports totaled 6.79 million mt, up 18.60 percent year on year.
