China’s CPI rises by two percent in August

In August this year, China’s consumer price index (CPI) indicated a year-on-year increase of two percent, while it was up 0.5 percent month on month, according to data released by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on September 10.

In the January-August period of the current year, China’s consumer price index (CPI) rose by 1.4 percent year on year.
