China’s wire rod exports down 6.9 percent in Q1

In March this year, China’s wire rod exports amounted to 180,000 mt, up 70,000 mt month on month and increasing by 2.8 percent year on year, while the wire rod export volume in the January-March period totaled 460,000 mt, down 6.9 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities.
