China’s steel exports to S. Korea down in October

South Korea Iron and Steel Association (KISA) disclosed that South Korea imported 455'817 tons of steel products from China during October, down 2 percent year on year. KISA indicated that the reduced demand and the decline in South Korean steelmakers' inventories contributed to the decline in steel imports. South Korea's overall steel imports amounted to 15.9 million tons in the first ten months of the year, up 8.6 percent from a year earlier.
