China’s scrap imports down 19.3 percent in January-July

In July this year, China imported 170,000 mt of scrap, down 2.3 percent year on year, according to monthly import and export data issued by the Chinese customs authorities.

In the January-July period of the current year, China imported 1.16 million mt of scrap, decreasing by 19.3 percent year on year.
