China’s retail sales of consumer goods rise by 10.9 percent in September

In September this year, China’s total retail sales of consumer goods amounted to RMB 2.5271 trillion ($0.40 trillion), up 10.9 percent year on year, while the figure totaled RMB 21.6080 trillion ($3.40 trillion) in the January-September period of the current year, up 10.5 percent year on year, as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
 
In particular, total automotive vehicle sales in China amounted to a value of RMB 307.6 billion ($48.36 billion) in September, while totaling RMB 2.5282 trillion ($0.40 trillion) in the January-September period, up 2.7 percent and 4.2 percent year on year, respectively.
