China’s private sector fixed asset investments up 7.7 percent in Q1

In the January-March period of the current year, private sector fixed asset investments in China amounted to RMB 5.7313 trillion ($0.833 trillion), up 7.7 percent year on year, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), with the year-on-year increase rate in question up 1.0 percentage point compared to that recorded in the January-February period. The proportion of private sector fixed asset investments in total fixed asset investments (excluding rural households) in China in the first quarter came to 61.1 percent.
