China’s machinery industry sees 12 percent rise in gross profit in Jan-Apr

In the January-April period this year, China’s machinery industry achieved an operating revenue of RMB 870 million ($122.7 million), up 9.9 percent year on year, while posting a gross profit of RMB 439.69 billion ($62 billion), rising by 12.0 percent year on year, according to the China Machinery Industry Federation (CMIF).

The increases in revenue and gross profit recorded by the machinery industry were higher than those recorded by overall national industry in the same period.
