China’s iron ore output down 9.3 percent in first quarter

In the first quarter of the current year, China's iron ore output amounted to 281 million mt, down 9.3 percent year on year, as announced by the country's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). In March alone, China produced 105 million mt of iron ore, down 13.4 percent year on year.
