China’s Henan Province to cut 20 million mt of coal capacity in 2017

China’s Henan Province has announced that it plans to eliminate 20 million mt of coal production capacity in 2017.

In 2016, Henan Province achieved its capacity reduction targets, eliminating 23.88 million mt of coal output capacity and 2.4 million mt of steelmaking capacity.
