In 2013,
China's total fixed asset
investments (excluding rural households) amounted to RMB 43.6528 trillion ($7.21 trillion), up 19.6 percent year on year, with this growth rate down 0.3 percentage points compared to the year-on-year increase rate recorded in January-November and down 1.1 percentage points compared to the year-on-year increase rate in 2012, as announced by
China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on January 20. In December alone,
China's total fixed asset
investments (excluding rural households) was up 1.41 percent month on month.
Meanwhile, in 2013 fixed asset
investments in
China's industrial sector totaled RMB 18.1864 trillion ($3.00 trillion), up 17.8 percent year on year. In particular, total fixed asset investment in
China's mining sector in the given period amounted to RMB 1.4750 trillion ($0.24 trillion), up 10.9 percent year on year, while fixed asset investment in
China's manufacturing sector totaled RMB 14.7370 trillion ($2.43 trillion), up 18.5 percent year on year.
