China's fixed asset investments up 15.9 percent in January-October

In the January-October period of the current year, total fixed asset investments (excluding rural households) in China amounted to RMB 40.6161 trillion ($6.615 trillion), up 15.9 percent year on year, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on November 13, with the year-on-year increase rate in question down 0.2 percentage points compared to that recorded in the January-September period this year.

In the January-October period this year, total fixed asset investment in China's mining sector amounted to RMB 1.1497 trillion ($187.25 billion), up 2.2 percent year on year, while fixed asset investment in China's manufacturing sector totaled RMB 13.7035 trillion ($2.232 trillion), up 13.5 percent year on year, with these respective year-on-year increase rates down 1.4 percentage points and 0.3 percentage points compared to those recorded in the January-September period this year.
