China’s ferrous scrap imports down 42.6 percent in 2014

In December last year, China imported 220,000 mt of ferrous scrap, down 29.2 percent year on year, according to monthly import and export data issued by the Chinese customs authorities on January 23. In the whole of 2014, China imported 2.56 million mt of ferrous scrap, down 42.6 percent year on year.
