SteelOrbis Shanghai The data from Chinese National Statistics Bureau show that the consumer price index in February increased 0.9 percent year on year, and 0.5 percent month on month. During January-February, the cumulative consumer price index rose 1.4 percent year on year. Due to the Spring Festival in February, it's natural for product prices to go up, and the increase range is not large at all. In fact, the growth rate of the consumer price index (CPI) growth is in a downward trend. The downward trend of consumer prices provides a favorable condition for China's pricing reform.
