China’s FAI in transportation totals RMB 2.29 trillion in Jan-Sept, up 5.5%

Total fixed asset investments (FAI) in transportation in China in September this year totaled RMB 2.29 trillion ($0.32 trillion), up 5.5 percent year on year, as announced by China’s Ministry of Transportation (MOT).

Total fixed asset investments (FAI) in roads and waterways in China in the first nine months this year amounted to RMB 2.145 trillion ($0.3 trillion) and RMB 144.1 billion ($20.1 billion), up 4.3 percent and 28.2 percent year on year, while total FAI in inland rivers and coastal facilities totaled RMB 73.9 billion ($10.3 billion) and RMB 66.6 billion ($9.3 billion), up 36.3 percent and 16.2 percent year on year, respectively.
