In October this year, China’s imports of coking coal amounted to 5.16 million mt, increasing by 67.8 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities.
In the January-October period this year, China’s imports of coking coal totaled 48.63 million mt, up 23.7 percent year on year.
