China’s coal prices in August show just slight changes from July

According to information released by China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), in August this year coal produced in the main Chinese provinces was priced at an average of RMB 714/mt ex-mine, up 0.31 percent compared to July. In addition, average steam coal prices in China in August were at RMB 524/mt, up 1.3 percent, with average coking coal prices at RMB 714/mt, down 0.39 percent - both compared to July levels.
