China sees record daily crude steel output in March

According to the latest data issued by China's National Bureau of Statistics, in March this year Chinese domestic crude steel output totaled 61.58 million mt, up 3.9 percent year on year. The average daily crude steel output in China in the month of March reached 1.9865 million mt, constituting an all-time record high.

In the January-March period, the aggregate output of crude steel in China amounted to 174.22 million, indicating an increase of 2.5 percent year on year. The average daily crude steel output in the first three months was 1.915 million mt, up from 1.875 million in the first three months of last year.
