The China Auto Dealer General Inventory Index stood at 1.35 in June this year, down from 1.74 recorded in May, as announced by the China Automobile Dealers Association (CADA).

CADA said the promotion policies ended at the end of June, while the vehicle market has been into traditional offseason in July. The high temperature in summer exerted a negative impact on transaction activities in vehicle market amid fewer consumers visiting stores to buy cars. However, two tax exemptions and reductions for new energy vehicle purchases have been released in June. It is thought that vehicle sales may indicate a slight year-on-year rise in July.
