Chilean rebar sales increase in March

Chilean rebar sales in March rose 2.8 percent, year-on-year, to 50,998 mt, the highest sales volume thus far in 2019, according to data released by the local civil construction chamber, CChC.

Chilean rebar sales in March improved 17.8 percent, month-on-month, from 43,287 mt in February this year.           

Chilean rebar sales in Q1 totaled 139,044 mt, 1.4 percent up, year-on-year, from 137,152 mt in Q1 2018.
