Chengde Steel’s quake-resistant rebar sales hit 240,000 mt in Mar

Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group has announced that its subsidiary Chengde Iron and Steel Company (Chengde Steel) sold approximately 240,000 mt of earthquake-resistant rebar in March this year, earning revenues of RMB 7 million ($1.11 million).

Chengde Steel produces HRB 400 grade earthquake-resistant rebar in a diameter range of 6-60 mm.
