Chengde Steel’s anti-seismic rebar output doubles in Jan-Sept

On October 25, Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group announced that in the January-September period of the current year its Hebei-based subsidiary Chengde Iron and Steel Co. (Chengde Steel) produced 109,505.5 mt of high-strength anti-seismic rebar, double compared to the corresponding period of last year.

Meanwhile, Hebei Iron and Steel Mining Co., the mining division of Hebei Iron and Steel Group, was recently named as one of the three designated factory warehouses for iron ore futures trading at Dalian Commodity Exchange.
