Chengde Steel subsidiary sees increased specialty steel output

In February this year, Shandong Province-based No.1 Steelmaking and Vanadium-Extracting Plant, a subsidiary of Chengde Iron and Steel Company (Chengde Steel) which in turn is part of Hebei Iron and Steel Group, produced 280,000 mt of finished specialty steel products, accounting for 68.54 percent of its total finished steel output, as reported by Hebei Iron and Steel Group.

According to the report, Chengde Steel's No.1 Steelmaking and Vanadium-Extracting Plant has continued to upgrade production technology and expand its output capacity for specialty steel.
