Chengde Steel plant produces 4.7688 million mt of crude steel in 2011

According to Chinese steelmaking giant Hebei Iron and Steel Group, the vanadium-refining and steelmaking plant of its subsidiary Chengde Iron and Steel Group (Chengde Steel) produced 4.7688 million mt of crude steel and 123,500 mt of vanadium slag in 2011, respectively increasing by 432,900 mt and 25,500 mt as compared to 2010. Both outputs were in line with the targeted volumes for the year.
