Changbao Steel Tube commissions pipe production facilities

Jiangsu Province-based Chinese steel pipe producer Changbao Steel Tube Co. has commissioned its production facilities for high-end oil well pipes, as reported by Beijing-based state-owned China Metallurgical Group Co. (MCC) on January 6. Construction work on the project was carried out by MCC subsidiary MCC Baosteel Technology Service Co.
 
The project in question includes two heat treatment lines, with an annual capacity of 85,000 mt each, and one pipe threading line with an annual output capacity of 40,000 mt. The pipes produced will be characterized by strong resistance to corrosion.
