Celsa may start scrap purchases in Estonia

According to local media reports, Spain-based steel producer Celsa Group intends to start purchases of scrap in Estonia for its steel mills in Europe.
 
According to Estonian market players, the arrival of such a large company in the domestic market will lead to an increase of 15-20 percent in the purchasing prices of local raw materials. Estonian domestic companies consider that the Spanish group may be able to claim a 30-40 percent share of the market.

Celsa Group is one of the largest manufacturers of long products in Spain and Europe, with seven steelmaking companies - three in Spain, one in the UK, one in Poland, one in Norway and one in France - specialized in the production of reinforcing bars and coils, merchant bars and wire rods.
