According to Statistics Canada, Canada produced 5,433,418 mt of iron ore concentrates in April, up 7.7 percent from March and up 2.9 percent from April 2022.
Canadian iron ore producers shipped 3,725,457 mt of iron ore concentrates in April, up 13.4 percent from March and up 8.1 percent from April 2022.
Closing inventories of iron ore concentrates at Canadian producers totaled 7,015,854 mt in April, compared to 7,013,894 mt in March and 6,909,875 mt in April 2022.
