According to Statistics Canada, Canada produced 3,341,602 mt of iron ore concentrates in June, down 37.3 percent from May and down 32.1 percent from June 2022.
Canadian iron ore producers shipped 2,126,725 mt of iron ore concentrates in June, down 46.0 percent from May and down 37.9 percent from June 2022.
Closing inventories of iron ore concentrates at Canadian producers totaled 7,996,779 mt in June, compared to 7,708,702 mt in May and 8,390,515 mt in June 2022.
