In April this year, China’s auto export volume totaled 54,000 units, down 5.5 percent month on month, while decreasing by 12.9 percent year on year, including 34,000 passenger vehicles and 20,000 commercial vehicles, down 8.2 percent and 0.5 percent month on month, while rising by 5.2 percent and declining by 32.5 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
In the January-April period of the current year, China’s auto export volume totaled 190,000 units, down 22.4 percent year on year, including 121,000 passenger vehicles and 69,000 commercial vehicles, down 11.7 percent and 36 percent year on year, respectively.
