Bulgaria’s Stomana Industry inaugurates new rolling mill

Greek steelmaker Sidenor Group has inaugurated a new high-tech long products rolling mill at its Bulgarian subsidiary Stomana Industry.

The new mill, built with an investment of €80 million, increases Stomana Industry's production capacity of long products to one million mt per year.

As Stomana Industry board member Mr. Anton Petrov stated, this production line is unique for Bulgaria and is one of the most advanced in Europe. With the implementation of this investment, the company will become the largest producer of long products in the Balkan region.
